Tyrone begins the “Health, Recovery, and Reconnect Tour”: A series of events and travel experiences to visit friends and engage in new adventures.
Dr. Roach and colleague Dr. Bernhard’s paper entitled, “Investigation of Desired Element Pattern Reconfigurability in Small Adaptive Arrays” is published in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation.

Dr. Roach is nominated and awarded by the IEEE student society at OU, the Maximum Impedance award. The award carries the dubious distinction of honoring a faculty member who has “challenged young scholars” in the classroom.
Dr. Roach speaks in front of engineering students for a NSBE sponsored community outreach event, A Walk for Education, at the North East Academy Oklahoma City.
Dr. Roach begins his tenure as an assistant professor and faculty member in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Advanced Radar Research Center at University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Roach is promoted to Senior Research Engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute post-resignation
Dr. Roach resigns from Georgia Tech Research Institute to pursue a career in academia.
